1. | Make sure that the name or IP Address is set in the Relay to Host in Server Config.
2. | If you did use a name instead of an IP Address in Relay to Host, make sure the server is able to look up the name. A good way to test this is to go to a command prompt and type "ping name" (without the quotes), where name is the name you've put in Relay to Host.
3. | Test your e-mail server by going to a command prompt and typing "telnet name 25" (without the quotes), where name is the name or IP Address you've put in Relay to Host.
4. | Check the Accounts to make sure that the user exists, and that the Unknown e-mail is going where you expect it to.
5. | Turn on Log SMTP Relay in Server Config to log the entire SMTP conversation between Spam Sleuth Enterprise and your internal e-mail server.
6. | If Spam Sleuth Enterprise accepts the e-mail, but the message is rejected by your e-mail server, then two files will be stored in the [Spam Sleuth Enterprise directory]\Server\data\error\ directory. The .MSG will contain the message, and the corresponding .RCP file will contain the IP address and sender information, along with the reason your e-mail server rejected the message.
