The Quick Start Wizard gives you a choice for what type of document you'd like to print. If you don't want to see the wizard every time, uncheck the option for "Show this wizard on StartUp."
The Quick Start Wizard will take you to the most popular layout for a category. If the layout selected is not what you want, then choose a different layout from the category.
